We need someone to serve from January 2009—December 2010. The perfect candidate would be an active member of the community who is familiar with autism. Board members are required to attend quarterly meetings and take an active role within the group. Members Text Box: The Arc of Indiana has designated funds to provide disaster relief assistance to people with disabilities living in areas of the state severely affected by 2008 floods. The Arc will supply a $100 debit card to provide for immediate needs. To apply for assistance, individuals should contact the local chapter of The Arc in their county, or a local agency providing services to people with disabilities. Application may also be made through an IPMG Case Manager, Area Agency on Aging, or a district office of the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services. The agency will need to submit the completed certification form on Text Box: behalf of the recipient.  The certification form is available at http://www.arcind.org. Click on "Disaster Relief Assistance" at the bottom of the web page.
