Text Box: Easter Seals Crossroad has several summer activities for kids in our area. There is a Life Skills Camp for adolescents with ASD or developmental delays. These camps are designed to help develop skills for use in the home and the community. The camp for ages 12-14 is on Tuesdays, June 17—July 29., and the one for ages 15-17 is Monday—Friday, July 28-August 1. Cost is $300. P.A.L.S.S. Club is designed to teach social strategies. Children ages 6-9 will review topics including personal space, body language, talking to peers, team work, thinking of others and good sportsmanship. The introductory class will be held Text Box: for one hour on Tuesdays, June 3-August 16. Level 1+ is Thursdays from 9am - 11:30 am, June 19—July 17. Cost for these session are $360. Two handwriting classes are offered. Cool Hands is designed to improve hand function for pre-writing, printing and scissor skills. Let’s Write is designed to meet individual handwriting needs, including increasing handwriting confidence and performance. One of the most popular classes offered is the Lose the Training Wheels program. This week long class teaches kids with disabilities to ride their bikes without training wheels.
